Frequently Asked Questions
Do you Accept Insurance?
I do not accept any insurance. However, I am able to provide a super bill for patients who have Tricare Select. You are welcome to submit the bill to Tricare to see if they rebate you the cost of care.
How do I Become a Member?
Simply click the “Become a Member” link. This will take you to an enrollment page. Once you complete the form, I’ll be notified that you want to become a member and will reach out to confirm with you. I do not charge you anything until we finalize your enrollment.
How Much Does Membership Cost?
Membership is $99 a month for adults and $25 a month for kids up to 17 years old. That covers all your visits for the month, direct access via text, phone call, video chat, and email. It also covers flexible after hours scheduling for in person visits.
Do You Do Single Visits?
On rare occasions, I offer single-visit appointments for individuals who are not established members of TrueCare DPC. These visits are priced as follows:
$80 for a 30-minute visit
$120 for a 60-minute visit
Lab studies and lab reviews are NOT included in the visit fee. If labs are required:
A $50 additional fee is required for lab orders and a 10-minute follow-up lab review. (Cost of actual labs is separate. Quote will be provided prior to placing order.)
Membership includes unlimited 30-60 minute visits and lab reviews at no extra charge. If you’re interested in joining, ask about enrollment options during your visit. See below for price comparison.
How Long Do I Need to be a Member?
I require at least a three month membership agreement. If after three months you no longer desire to be a member of TrueCare DPC, I will cancel your membership.
Compare Cost
Many people worry about healthcare costs, and on the surface, a single visit may seem like a way to save money. But let’s break it down and compare the true cost of a single visit versus a membership.
Single Visit Pricing
30-minute visit (no labs) → $80
Saves $19 compared to a membership.
BUT you lose out on regular access to care, follow-ups, and ongoing support.
Over 3 months, you save $217 but receive far fewer benefits.
30-minute visit (with labs) → $130
You save $167 over 3 months.
BUT you’re paying $31 more for that month than a membership—and you don’t get unlimited visits, free lab reviews, or regular follow-up.
60-minute visit (no labs) → $120
Without the 3-month commitment, you technically save $177 over time.
BUT for the month you need care, you're paying $21 more than a member while missing out on unlimited visits and other benefits.
60-minute visit (with labs) → $150
Without the 3-month commitment, you save $147 over time.
BUT in the month you need care, you’re paying $51 more than a member while losing access to lab reviews, follow-ups, and unlimited visits.
The True Cost of Single Visits
While single visits seem cheaper in the long run, they come with trade-offs:
- You save a little money upfront but pay more when you actually need care.
- You lose access to follow-ups, ongoing support, and lab reviews—which can be critical to your health.
- Membership ensures you always have care when you need it, instead of paying a premium every time you need a visit. When you think beyond just this one visit, membership makes financial and medical sense.
